The primary mission of the Grady County Sheriff’s Office Size and Weights handles explicitly “Size & Weights” enforcement. Their deputies enforce regulations as well as State law for oversized and overweight vehicles and loads traversing on county roads, aiming to keep roadways safe for all motorists.
Our Size and Weights deputies receive training from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol’s Size & Weights enforcement division. The scales used for weighing trucks are certified annually by the Highway Patrol’s Size and Weights division to ensure accuracy and compliance. Grady County Sheriff’s Office Size and Weights mission is to align enforcement consistency with statewide standards and continue enforcement practices congruent with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol’s standards.
