This week starts the second week of Jury term here in Grady County. Unfortunately, there is a phone scam currently going on telling people they failed to show for jury duty. Do not believe this and give no information or payment to those calling. The Grady County Sheriffs Office will not call to tell you that you have a warrant for failing to appear for jury duty, and we will never ask for personal information or payment over the phone. If you receive a call like this simply hang up on the caller.
